There will be more skills coming for every chapter. Gems and saphaires will be the new big thing for the fow armour.

I think rubies and saphs will be more for other accessorys other than armor or maybe add ons to your fow armor rather than for a totaly new armor set.

New armor that has better stats than current armor won't happen. New armor that costs a boatload of gold certainly might, but don't expect to get, say, an extra 20 armor for your gold.

I'm so glad I never for FoW for my warrior and feel sorry for warriors that have it since it does not look good.
Then faction shows that 100 AL armor which owns the fow armor in looks.

With each chapter, there going to add armor of different type and style. Five chapters in, it's going to be sheer choice of armor you can choose from.

Hard to word. Down the road, once things start rolling there will be so many choices and styles of play will lean towards being balanced due to the sheer number of "specific" builds a will not be as popular because there will be 2-5 different things that can go against it but the chance to seeing the 2-5 will not be common but it will come up.

There going to add armor that give advantages over specific styles in C1 but at the same time, since C2 only doesn't have access to all C1 armor, C1 will have some advantages over C2. The people that have a merged account will have the best of both worlds.

Anyone who has played magic the gathering (informal) where you can play 4 of any card from any set and have cards from 7+ series will know exactly what I mean (maybe someone can word it better).

Once Gw hits a "critical" point where the sheer number of choices change the way the game is played due to you can't count on a lot of things anymore, you will find a "flavor" and run with it and you will come across a counter build.

Another point with Magic The Gathering, there have color type specilized cards that would decimate another color type in to the ground but with 5 color and many many sets, that was outcome for making a too specific set. I can see the same thing here, something will murder another build style if it's too specific.

People make their characters. Characters do not make the player.

ARMOR does not replace skill. Better armor might help, but if you have horrible usage of skills, you will not get anywhere.

not nessarily.

i'm guessing ANET will create new items for FoW armour, so the americans who bought billions of rubys + saphs, wont get the chance to make fortunes.

i am guessing they will require items like ectos, only avabile in certian place's in guild wars factions, items they havent relised yet.

nope, it is still AL 80 with a conditional +20. If you don't have 13 in strength, you only have AL of 80. You could rewrite the desctiption as AL 80 (+20AL if Strength is over 13)

Same thing for Galdiators, you can think of it as AL 100, with a -20 vs Elemental or AL 80 (+20AL vs. Physical)

Their Armor levels are basically the same, just with different requirements.

Are you saying that Americans are the only ones with Rubies and Saphires?
